Prussian Blue is a dark blue inorganic pigment. It is used for solvent based coating、offset inks、solvent inks and pesticide etc. In addition to used alone as blue pigment, it can also mix with lead chrome yellow to produce lead chrome green, this is a common green materials for paint.It has poor alkali resistance, so it can not be used for water-based paint.In plastic products area, as  milori blue have degradation effect for PVC, so it is not suitable for coloring PVC, but suitable for coloring LDPE and HDPE,and also used for carbon paper, painting, coating cloth and crayonetc.
Prussian Blue Appearance: dark blue powder, Relative density: 1.8g/cm3, It is insoluble in water、ethanol and ether, but soluble in alkali and strong acid.shade is from dark blue to brilliant blue,high tinting strength,good dispersion,high Oil absorption, but slightly poor covering. the powder particle is slightly hard, not easy to grind. good light resistance and weak acid resistance, when boiling with strong acid, it will decompose, but alkali resistance is weak, even weak alkali can also decompose it, so it can not be used with the alkaline pigments. when heated to 170 ~ 180 ℃,it begin to loss crystal water, heated to 200 ~ 220 ℃,itwill burn off and releases hydrocyanic acid. There’s not allowed to contain filler, except a small amount of additive composition that can improve the pigment properties.
